caffeine withdrawal
I was sick most of last week and couldn't eat or drink anything, and then once i started feeling better for some reason coffee was really turning me off. I've been meaning to give up coffee anyways so i used this as the easy way to do so. However, i've been feeling really slow, sluggish and foggy lately, and i'm not sure if it the lack of coffee, or if it is something else (still recovering from not eating for so long, winter blues, etc). For the record, i was what you could consider to be a hardcore coffee drinker. I drank a lot of it. I do love it quite a bit. Perhaps that should be my food tattoo. :/ I should also note that i have been drinking a couple of cups of tea, so i'm not totally caffiene deprived. Have you ever given up coffee? If so, how did that make you feel? |

I love food. Love intensely....as much as I assume I'll love my first born. When I came across some people with food tattoos, I wondered, do I love food that much?? Moral question
I know what i'm going to do but just thought it's a good question to post, seeing as I hardly post here! You buy a ds game from a game shop not online. You take it home and take the instruction book out and you find another instruction book. No biggie there but you also find another copy of the game you bought. What would you do? The weird thing is that this is the second game i've bought within a few weeks to have a 'problem' The first one was pirated and luckily I found out almost straightaway and returned it straightaway. Wolves?
Something I've always wondered: What is it about wolves that makes them such a popular animal? Wolf tshirts, lots of people have wolf icons (not calling you guys out, it's just something I've noticed <3), I know guys on WoW who only have wolf pets/mounts, etc. A lot of it seems to be prevalent with socially awkward, kind of dorky, don't quite fit in folk, I've noticed (hence the joke I've heard that anyone wearing a wolf tshirt will forever be a virgin <--not my personal opinion). I've never really seen this kind of thing with any other animal (certainly have never seen any other animal worn on a tshirt as often). What is it about the wolf? Current Mood:  curious |

Hipsters
Some reddit poster claims that to qualify as a "hipster" you have to wear a minimum of 5 pieces of irony. Non-clothing articles count (e.g., beards, Game Boys). Ironic activities (e.g., watching sports you don't genuinely like) probably also count. This guy I'm pretty sure counts as full hipster, though sadly he's still lacking ironic facial hair. Boycott?
If you found out that a celebrity that you liked was or was doing/had done something you found distasteful, how, if at all, would it affect how you enjoyed them? Would you still be able to enjoy their work? Do you feel that what happens their personal lives outweighs their achievements/art/talent? If you choose to boycott them to keep from supporting them financially, would you be opposed to downloading it? Why or why not? Which would be the worst "crime"? (Not talking about crimes against humanity like murder or anything, but rather being a Scientologist, being gay, being anti-gay, being some kind of -ist, prolife/choice, cheating on their spouse, etc). Asking because I'm still confused as to why anyone cares about Tiger Woods cheating on his wife (as people are still talking about it) and have heard about people boycotting certain authors over their personal views or Tom Cruise's movies because he's a Scientologist. Current Mood: curious |

My dog and I have just got back from the snowiest walk ever, and little balls of ice are attached to his legs. He's doing a pretty good job of licking and chewing them off himself, but wondered if it would be OK to give him a lukewarm bath? I don't want to give him little doggy chilblains or something, haha. |
